Situated on the beautiful Ipswich Waterfront, the Jerwood DanceHouse is ideally located with great transport links and plenty to see or do in the area. You can relax in our DanceEats Café, wander along the waterfront, or head to one of the local parks. So why not make your visit to the DanceHouse part of your day out in Ipswich?

HOW TO GET HERE

As part of our commitment to Environmental Responsibility, we encourage you to use public transport or car share with your group when you visit the DanceHouse.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Ipswich Train Station is a 12-minute walk from the DanceHouse and provides great links to the rest of the country with London just over an hour away.

If you are travelling by bus, both the Cattle Market Bus Station and Tower Ramparts Station are within 15 minutes’ walk and buses run frequently, connecting the town centre with the rest of Suffolk.

DRIVING HERE

Ipswich is conveniently located just off the A14 and the A12, making it really easy to get here from London, Chelmsford and Colchester (A12 northbound), Southwold, Aldeburgh and Woodbridge (A12 southbound) and Felixstowe (A14 westbound).

Once you arrive, there are plenty of car parks around town but the closest ones to us are:

  • St Peter’s Dock Car Park
  • Cardinal Park
  • Duke Street Car Park
