DanceEast is excited to announce that the callout for our #MoveBeMoved40 Commissions is officially live.
DanceEast’s 40th anniversary campaign, #MoveBeMoved40, not only celebrates 40 years of DanceEast, but also the joy that people experience from dance. DanceEast started life in 1983 as Suffolk Dance, renamed to DanceEast in 2000 to reflect an ever-growing position as an umbrella organisation in the Eastern Region.
As part of the #MoveBeMoved40 celebrations, DanceEast is delighted to announce that we are offering two £10,000 commissions that reflect our vision of the next 40 years. The commissions will contribute towards the making of a live dance work incorporating new technologies as a central element to the work.
If you want to know more about these commissions, then do book your place on one of our drop-in zoom Q&A sessions where you’ll be able to meet the DanceEast team and ask questions.
These zoom sessions won’t be recorded to allow for an open and relaxed discussion. It won’t be a time to share ideas about your application but rather ask any questions you might have about the commissions. If you have any questions about this Q&A please contact Esther Alcock, Programme Coordinator, by calling 01473 235581 or emailing Esther.Alcock@danceeast.co.uk.
We look forward to seeing you there.
