Taking you behind the curtain of this iconic art form. From her beginnings in London’s late 1970s club scene to the highs and lows of the industry. This talk promises an unforgettable afternoon of stories, insight, and a touch of glamour.

Discover the secrets of the clubs, the unspoken rules, and the dramatic shifts in London’s burlesque culture over the decades. Hear first-hand accounts of encounters with Mafia figures, elusive managers, and the financial rollercoaster that defined a performer’s life. Learn how this trailblazer transitioned from clubs to pubs as the scene evolved and took a bold leap of faith by founding the London Academy of Burlesque in 2000 – the first school of its kind in Europe!
