Expand your knowledge of ballet and improve your technique with this fun and energetic class that will inspire you to reach your full potential.
Each class will begin with barre work to warm up before building on technical exercises and then moving into the centre to work on adage, turns and allegro, before ending with a slow and gentle stretch on the floor.
Led by Gail Lister, you can expect to:
- Improve stamina, muscular strength, and flexibility
- Build on more complex sequences
- Develop balance and technique
This class is recommended if you have at least 2+ years of experience in ballet and have attended ballet classes consistently over the past year.
Please wear clothes that you are comfortable moving in and bring a reusable bottle of water. Water fountains can be found on the ground floor and 1st floor of the building.
We also offer a Level 1 ballet class. If you are unsure which class level is appropriate for you, please don’t hesitate to contact our friendly Box Office Team on 01473 295230 who would be happy to advise you.

Get Dancing Access Scheme
If you’re aged 18 or over, in receipt of Universal Credit, live in IP1, IP2, IP3 or IP4, and do not currently take part in classes at DanceEast, you can access one whole term of classes completely free.
